Scientology Volunteer Ministers Bring Real Independence to the People of Botswana

| After being introduced to the Scientology Handbook by the Scientology Volunteer Ministers Goodwill Tour, Pastor Solomon is using the technology to help his parishioners. |
The African Scientology Volunteer Minister Goodwill Tour is currently in southern Botswana, where local residents have been getting training in the technology contained in the Scientology Handbook, and have set up their own local Scientology Volunteer Minister groups in the city of Gaborone and in the village of Mochudi.
A Scientology Volunteer Minister who has been trained by the Goodwill Tour recently delivered two study workshops in local schools in Mochudi, Botswana. These workshops were very successful, the students there are now eager to learn things they could not grasp before. One of the teachers has now enrolled on the Study Course at the Volunteer Ministers' center.
A woman who wanted help to resolve a conflict she had with her mother, took ''The Cause of Suppression'' course and realized that one of her neighbors was causing the problem by undermining their relationship. Because of The technology in the Scientology Handbook she now knows exactly what to do to sort this out.
In his 1976 essay Religious Influence in Society, Scientology founder L. Ron Hubbard wrote, "A Volunteer Minister does not shut his eyes to the pain, evil and injustice of existence. Rather, he is trained to handle these things and help others achieve relief from them and new personal strength as well."
